| Announcing results for the year ending 31st January 2009, agricultural purchasing group Anglia Farmers Limited reports turnover was £145.7 million, up by 52% on the previous year. While part of this growth is due to inflation, particularly in fertilizer and fuel, the underlying 30% is consistent with growth in recent years. |

| Anglia Farmers’ business development manager David Moar has been made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his services to cancer charities in Norfolk and North Suffolk. David founded The Big C cancer charity with fellow patient Clive Bamford in 1980 after being diagnosed with testicular cancer and then secondary lung cancer. |
