| Redundant phones help air ambulances |

Members of Anglia Farmers responded particularly well to Comm-Tech Data Solutions’ invitation to return unwanted mobile phones via freepost recycling bags. As a result, the majority of the £810.00 recently presented to EAAA came from this recent initiative.
“It costs £3 million a year to keep the two air ambulances working,” said Robert George. “This is all paid for by donations as no government funding is received. Given that the service is of particular use in rural locations, we know this is a charity close to our members’ hearts.
“Our mobile phones service is proving extremely popular and we now have more than 8,000 handsets amongst our membership. To have Comm-Tech’s RPC Recycle system for redundant handsets, which benefit such a relevant charity, is neat to say the least and our members are responding really well to it.”
