Spare a thought for the team at Anglia Farmers this weekend who are moving lock, stock and barrel from Keswick Hall to new premises at Honingham Thorpe, just south-west of Norwich.

The fast growing agricultural purchasing group, which also provides administrative services for three further farming-related groups – namely Anglia Woodfuels, Eastern Machinery Ring and Prime Agriculture, has been bursting at the seams over the past few months.

“The new building provides us with over 10,500 square feet of modern office space,” said Clarke Willis, chief executive of Anglia Farmers. “We now employ 60 people and this will give us breathing space and room to expand as the need arises.

“It is in a perfect location and has been converted from a former farm building to our own specification. This has given us the opportunity to upgrade to the latest IT and communications technology which will enhance our operation.

“The project has gone to timetable thanks to the support of our architect Arctica and builders H Smith & Son.”

Aiming for a seamless transition themselves, Anglia Farmers will close in Keswick at 5pm on Friday, 24^th October and re-open at Honingham Thorpe on Monday, 27^th October at 8.30am. The new main telephone number is 01603 881881.
